Bibliography
Cox, Earl, 'The fuzzy
systems manual'
A good book for a layman who wants to get introduced
to fuzzy logic. Its a big fat book though, so one has to
take care not to lose interest midway. There are also
some examples of fuzzy logic models. For the introductory
part atleast, the book is not heavy on mathematics but it
is written in textbook style.
Graham, Ian and Jones, Peter L,
'Expert Systems Knowledge,
Uncertainty and Decision'
A great book for those wanting an
introduction to the topic. Written in a very
understandable language, Mathematics is kept to the
minimum. The style of writing is more of a literature
kind thus giving the feeling that one is reading a novel.
Sort of 'Brief history of time' format. Concentrates on
the use of fuzzy logic to overcome uncertainty in expert
systems.
Baldwin, J. F., 'Fuzzy
Logic'
Its a collection of papers written by various researchers
on fuzzy logic edited by J. F. Baldwin. The book also
concentrates on the mathematical aspect of fuzzy logic
and makes good reading for a serious student of fuzzy
logic.
