Hawala Scam. (popularised by judge Mr. Verma)
There was once a hawala scam,
T o which the public didn't give damn,
Till a judge named Mr. Verma
Changed it into such a drama,
That the news of the scam reached Uncle Sam.

Cartoonists and Elections.
Cartoonists are having a field day
With Sonia, Vajpayee et all in the fray,
The problem though
Is where they'll go
If the next govt. decides to cook-n-serve them in a tray.

Bjp's claim to form government. (After the 1999 elections)
The BJP says that after forming the government,
It'll prove its majority without predicament,
But the truth is that
The other parties' brats,
Will make in their confidence a serious dent.

Results are out! (1996 elections)
The elections are over and the counting has begun,
The bells of the BJP seem to have rung,
They have emerged the single largest
But from government formation are the farthest,
In a parliament that deserves to be 'hung'.

NF-LF's claim to form government! (1996 elections)
The NF-LF have staked their claim
By making the Congress quite tame,
But with so many leaders,
One very much wonders,
Whether the coalition will collapse playing the PM game.
