Scorpio is a sign which does evoke a bit of fear in those who know a bit about astrology. They are not entirely mistaken. This sign is capable of great good as well as great evil. Scorpios when hurt can hit back with a vengence not to be seen in any other sign. A Taurus can be even more destructive but a Taurean anger is rare and when it does occur it is like a tornado. Scorpios however are capable of scheming and plotting the downfall of their opponents. Most Scorpios look very different from our typical image of destructive people. They may seem very docile, witty, sometimes talkative and sweet. Scorpios come in all shapes, sizes and disguises. Of all the sun signs I have found it the most difficult to recognise a Scorpio. Inside Scorpions are very sensitive. However they have complete control over their emotions. Their sensitiveness derived from being a water sign is thus well hidden from an unsuspecting person unless he does something to upset the Scorpio. Scorpios are very loyal friends. In fact, Scorpios are one of the most passionate creatures. They either tend to have very strong opinions about something or someone or they prefer to ignore the person or thing. There is no midway for these people. They are also very stubborn and wont change their opinions easily. Scorpios have an inner desire to know what lies inside people. They are very intuitive and can know a lot of things just by seeing someone. Scorpios have got very penetrating and hypnotic eyes. Their gaze is fixed and you will seldom find a Scorpio with shifty eyes. However Scorpios also do not want to reveal much about themselves to others. They usually tend to have a specific ring of people with whom they interact. The rest of the people they just ignore. They love the mysteries of life and many are attracted to the occult. Scorpios also always tend to speak the truth when it comes to giviong their opinions. They are not the sort of people who will praise a friend just because he is a friend. Scorpio compliments are rare and when given they are from the heart. A Scorpio friend can give you much better opinions than the rest of your friends even if his/her opinions are the ones most likely to hurt. Its not like the Scorpions don't know that their opinions could hurt. They figure that if you have asked them for an opinion you deserve the truth. A Scorpio also respects anyone who is above him. This is because he/she knows that the person is needed to climb up the ladder of life. This is why many Scoprpios make quick progress up the corporate ladder.
